Cyclists are often hunched over their bikes for long periods of time which can affect their backs which can cause issues through the back, hips and neck and can make you vulnerable to injury. Strengthening the core can help keep the spine in a stable position whilst the legs move. A stable core can help with balance on your bike whilst you are cycling and improve your alignment.
