My Monday evening class (7.15pm - 8pm) is 'Men on Mats'
The class is a 45 minute mix of Pure Stretch, Pilates & Yoga.
The main emphasis of the class is to strengthen the core muscles, improve flexibility, mobility and balance.
Including a stretch routine into your training can enhance your performance and help to prevent injuries which can be caused by over use and poor alignment.

Love Yoga - have you tried Yin?
Yin is the perfect complement to a Yoga (Yang) practice.
What is Yin Yoga?
Yin is a slow meditative type of yoga.
Yin focuses on stimulating acupressure points by easing slowly and gently into poses which also target deep connective tissues, ligaments and joints. The poses are held for between 3 and 5 minutes.
It is a great way to counter the aging process by hydrating the tissues, releasing tension and relaxing the mind.
